Benefits
Wizard Technical Staffing currently offers
health coverage through HealthNet. We pay
50% of the monthly premium for employees who
elect to have coverage. Our premiums are reset
each June. The current employee cost runs
just over $300 per month. The premium is deducted
as a pre-tax payroll deduction.
Optional coverage is available for other
family members at the employee's cost.
Note that we MUST be told that you
wish coverage prior to submitting you for
a client position.
If you do not wish coverage and do not
currently have other group coverage (through
a spouse, etc.), you will not become an employee
of Wizard Technical Staffing, but instead
we will arrange for you to be hired for your
assignment by a sister company that does not
provide benefits.
Here's a brief summary of plan details:
- PPO Plan with a $30 office visit copay.
You can choose any doctor who accepts HealthNet
without a referral.
- $1500 deductable for major medical expenses,
then 20% copay up to a maximum annual out
of pocket of $3000 per individual.
- $10 generic, $50 or $75 brand name prescription
copay
- Alternative Care rider. $15 copay for accupuncture,
naturopathic, chiropractic up to a $1500 cumulative
annual maximum of billed charges.
- Standard Vision Plan included.
Currently we do not offer a dental plan,
since we have found that the cost vs the benefits
provided are not currently reasonable. This
will be reviewed again prior to our renewal
date in June.
Wizard Technical Staffing employees with
3 or more years out of the prior 5 years ,
are eligible for our SEP-IRA profit sharing
retirement plan. At the end of the year, based
upon company profitability, Wizard Staffing
will contribute an additional percentage of
annual wages to a SEP-IRA. The percentage
may vary from year to year, but is equal for
all eligible employees. This percentage has
typically been between 5% and 15% of wages.
